Over the past year and a half Dr Gayle Wood has successfully completed two pain free gum procedures for me. Knowing that skin from the roof of my mouth would be removed was a bit daunting, so I tried not to let my brain go there. On the day of the first procedure I felt tense, but quickly relaxed upon talking with Dr Wood. Her demeanor is amazingly calm and soothing. I began to feel a little bit of pressure on the roof of my mouth, but didn't realize she had even started until she had already finished. (That was the best part for me; I laughed to myself and wondered why I had been so worried.) By the time I arrived for the 2nd procedure 6 months later I calmly walked into her office.

Dr Wood is very skilled and professional at what she does; the most important thing for me was her calm, relaxing voice that very smoothly got me through two procedures. She even personally followed up with a phone call after each procedure. Some starfish can magically regrow a limb, so I think of the new gums she gave me the same way!
